Participate in collecting old and/or broken mobile phones that the company makes in collaboration with the NGO Oxfam Intermón.
How many old phones do you have at home? Surely more than one, and you no longer know what to do with them. Now you have the opportunity to transform those old devices into a gesture of solidarity.
Together with the NGO Oxfam Intermón, we have organized a collection of old and outdated mobile devices to give them a second life, turning them into seeds, school books, drinking water drums, training, and resources for the neediest people.
In addition to collaborating with a good cause, they are helping waste be treated correctly, minimizing the footprint of these elements in the environment.
Those useless phones are recycled entirely. Those that other people can still reuse are given a second useful life, thus extending their life cycle. The collected phones will be sent to the CMR’s headquarters in London, where they will be classified according to their status.
Thanks to this initiative, we managed to reuse terminals, environmentally friendly recycling, or reduce the demand for coltan components, a mineral that degrades ecosystems and generates armed conflicts in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Oxfam Intermón manages to raise funds to support projects that help more people achieve a dignified life every day.
Arce Clima has joined in donating those devices that are no longer reusable. And you? Do you want to collaborate? If so, you can deliver your mobile (or as many as you want) to the Department of G. A. P. E. You can do so until next December 31st, the date on which we will send all donated devices
