Nuevas acciones de RSE para cerrar 2019

In Arce Clima we have put the golden clasp to the year of our 25th anniversary with some actions and initiatives that make our company even greater, thanks to the commitment and work of everyone who is a part of it.

In Arce Clima we strongly believe that our actions are the reflection of our principles and values. This gives us a more competitive and efficient outcome, ensuring a sustainable growth and thinking not only about the short-term, but also about the projection of our long-term actions.

On today´s post, we will analyse the actions undertaken by Arce Clima in the last quarter if the year, in the Corporate Social Responsibility sector, which reinforce the unity and cohesion of all of us. The CSR has become a basic pillar in our business model, because it provides us great progress, not only at a social level, but also at an environmental level. Do you want to know how?

YOUR OPINION MATTERS

The basic pillar of these actions is, without a doubt, the Employee portal, with which we hope to get to know firsthand our workers opinions, training them in the ethics and daily work of our company, in order to keep guaranteeing our clients our professionalism and the deadline achievements with the quality standards that represent us.

PIPE surveys are still being carried through our employee portal, which let us get closer to our workers, to their opinions and, above all, to contribute to their wellbeing in the company. We work every day to increase participation and to get to know firsthand their concerns and (dis)agreements.

As with those already hired, we also create surveys for new additions, to know firsthand the Feedback within the hiring process and clarify the phases in which we can continue to improve the Onboarding process.

EQUALITY PLAN,  DUAL VT and more csr actions

We have the pleasure to announce that we have joined the equality plan registered in the REGCON of Galicia, a fact that serves to formalize its implementation in our company.

First dual VT meeting: The Personnel Department together with other managers from the Climate area and PCI have met with the students who are participating in the project. In this process, both parts reconcile their positions with the aim of leading the way towards new talents that choose to work with us. From April, the students of this VT will be working with us in different projects and will have the chance to implement the acquired concepts during those months.

Collection of mobile phones. We work closely with Oxfam in the collection of old mobile phones among workers of our company on behalf of the neediest. This facilitates the investment in solidarity projects.

Christmas Child Contest. This year the children of the company’s employees have taken part in the decoration of the company’s Christmas tree, creating their own Christmas ornaments. Every participant has received their presents for participating.

Family Day. The family reconciliation and the importance of children watching firsthand their parents efforts are a fundamental part of our CSR. On this day they make handicrafts and they get to know they company where their parents work by spending the day in our facilities.

Christmas meal. All the employees in Arce Clima are invited to celebrate the  traditional Christmas meal. The celebration this year was at Pazo de Mella and, fun fact, we have to highlight that this has been the year with greater attendance, with more than 170 attendants from Arce Clima, and also guests from our Partner, Osmos Sistemas Eléctricos.(link to their web)

ORP Contest. In December the contest ends in which the construction workers have been able to contribute their photos to demonstrate good preventive practices in the use and management of work equipment and protective equipment. We advance in our internal training processes with our intention to be better and more effective every day.

  • ORP Training. Health and safety training is provided for site employees. This allows them to carry out their work in a safer way.
  • Internal Training in Regulation and Control. Internally, the Regulation and Control DPT. provides training to every working partner to understand which are the common doubts that have arose, as to provide knowledge.
  • N25 Gender-Based Violence. We joined the BLACK against gender-based violence campaign. It is one of the activities within the EQUALITY PLAN.
  • Fire Drill: The drill is carried out in the central offices, which includes first aid training for workers.

We will move forward with different initiatives that reflect our company´s scope and the corporate social responsibility with the environment and wellbeing of our employees.
