Finding a solution for both circumstances is the main challenge so here is where building isolation features and environment climate come into play.
An efficient alternative with a clearly defined environmental purpose is the use of heat pumps, also called air-air heat pumps. Let´s take a deeper insight into how they work and their advantages.
Advantages of heat pumps.
One of the main advantages of heat pumps is that they allow for heat in winter and air conditioning in summer in just one machine. This means that the investment becomes cheaper since there is only one element that carries out a double function. Therefore, reversible machines that guarantee an adequate temperature all year round.
Energy consumption of these machines is low. Moreover, as they work independently it is possible to access only those which are strictly necessary in each moment. In addition, they are able to take advantage of the energy available in the air which improves their performance and the energy savings are significant.
They are more efficient and do not contaminate since they do not release carbon dioxide to the atmosphere.
Something that also should be mentioned is that the equipment filters the air which is a very important fact considering allergic users.
If a heat pump is chosen for a climatization installation, we are indeed helping comply with the EU objectives in terms of energy consumption: releasing 20% less CO₂, use 20% less energy and generate 20% more energy through renewable energy hoping to be attained in 2020 (also known as Plan 20/20/20).
Did you know about the environmental advantages and energy savings of climatization heat pumps?
