With the arrival of autumn, we have started a new course with enthusiasm, increasing the range of courses for internal training of employees, as well as promoting the prevention of occupational hazards through a dynamic of competition to reduce the possibility that accidents occur in any of our works.

September has also brought the beginning of the Dual VP of the Energy Efficiency and Solar Energy of the Upper Cycle, which is a cycle with which students will complement their training with their professional start at Arce Clima.

Nevertheless, these actions are complemented by new drives like for example the continuity, which we constantly make in the company.

#notorisk: I GOOD PREVENTIVE PRACTICES CONTEST

During the month of October, we have initiated the I Good Preventive Practices Contest, which goal is to foster the incident reduction identified at work in our daily works and, that way, avoid potential accidents.

In order to do it, there is no one better than our own partners, who know the details of every project because they spend their days working at Arce Clima.

The contest takes place throughout each month, in which good practices are reviewed when using or handling auxiliary means, that is, equipment as basic as ladders, lifting platforms or scaffolding.

After the transfer of the information regarding Good practices and avoidable mistakes, in order to get into the contest, the employees must send a photo (or several photographs) in which it is demonstrated that the auxiliary medium of the month is being used correctly. The result of the contest is also communicated on a monthly basis, making a ranking of the most original participants, as well as the score obtained.

This I Good Preventive Practices Contest, promoted from the Department of Prevention is part of the #NOTORISK campaign. What we all want, and more specifically, what the Department of Prevention wants, is that our work can be safer.

Start of the upper cycle of energy efficiency and solar energy

Last September the Cycle of Energy Efficiency and Solar Energy begun in the IES Universidade Laboral de Culleredo and we will soon go to schools to introduce ourselves. In this presentation we will transfer, to the students themselves and from the work managers of Arce Clima, the work that we carry out in the different areas in our daily life.

Currently, the participants have started studying the different areas that compose the cycle:

• Energy efficiency
• Assembly and maintenance of the electrical installations, conditioning and renewable energy
• Building Information Modelling (or BIM)
• Sustainability
• Computer Apps: Autocad, Revit, Cype, Hulc, CE3X, DIALUX, THERM

TRAINING: THE KEY TO GROWTH

The training companies are aware of the challenges of the making of the training courses during the festive season. Thus, for us there is also a return to the routine after the holiday pattern.

Among other courses, at Arce Clima we have conducted the following ones:

• IPAF Training: regarding the secure and effective use of motorized access equipment, that is lift platforms, globally.
• LRP Training: in which the possible risks in the work centers and how to avoid them are exposed, complying with what is stipulated in our agreement.
• Training in Payroll and Accounting.
• Training in Revit: this training of the building information modelling (BIM) was developed online.
• Training in languages: during this quarter, we could enjoy English and French courses.
