Today we address in our blog one of our latest major projects that we started in March 2020, in the middle of the COVID pandemic, and we have finished after a year of work.
This is an office building of 67,000 m2, distributed in five floors above ground and two basements for parking, with the maximum LEED energy efficiency certification.
Arce Clima has executed the air conditioning installation of the entire building and the detection system, ventilation, and fume extraction of the car parks.
The air conditioning system, formed by a system of cold beams of high energy efficiency, provides the enclosure with heating, cooling, and ventilation at any time of the year.
From a production center formed by udes. multipurpose air-cooled heat pumps, for a total cooling capacity of 2,200 KW, cold/hot water is distributed through steel pipes that, through uprights, access each of the floors of the building.
Both the cold production plant, the water pumping plant, and the udes. of air treatment, they are located on the roof of the building, where porticoes have been arranged based on standard steel profiles for the aerial support of the pipes, facilitating access to the rest of the equipment and maintenance tasks.
The primary air driven is distributed to the inductors through udes. Modular UTAS, incorporating water batteries for cold and heat and a mixing system with recovery and humidity control.
Airflow regulation gates and 2-way motorized valves were installed in all inductors, allowing the control of each of them according to the moment’s demand. A centralized management system allows reaching very high levels of comfort and energy efficiency.
Finally, jet-fan fans were installed for the extraction of fumes from the car park, using the air drag system.
