Juan Cividades, Director of IGAPE (Galician Institute of Economic Promotion) visited
our premises a few weeks ago. He highlighted our constant efforts to improve our
internal processes as well as methodological and technical tools.

The visit gave him insights into how management of logistics has been working and the
results achieved in Arce Clima. This allowed us to put into practice the 5S´s
organization methodology programme as part of continuous improvement within Arce
Clima.

There were three main objectives:

1. Improvements in management of stock.
2. Improvements in information flow and purchasing cycle steps.
3. Improvements in organization of purchasing function.

These improvements were implemented after having so many meetings consisting of
employees from all departments discussing together the potential advancements the
firm could attain, thus through brainstorming sessions, everyone was involved in
contributing what was needed to be changed to become more efficient.

Everyone much appreciated the Improvement Group idea as every department could
be heard so we could not be any more satisfied with the outcome of these sessions.

This type of initiatives surely allow companies to implement improvement actions within
their processes so we can be more competitive and continue to strive towards
excellence.

IGAPE also emphasized that a new edition of Reacciona programme is already
available from July. The first application stage ends 15th September on a budget of 2
million Euro.

We can just be truly thankful from Arce Clima for this opportunity and remark the
success of this experience.
