Incorporating new talent is a constant at Arce Clima. As the sector and our company have evolved, we have always kept our doors open to welcome new team members since our early days. We started with less than a dozen employees in the mid-1990s and have now grown to a team of over 250 individuals working worldwide. We have transitioned from profiles that were adapted to the requirements of that era to the diversity and specialization necessary for each phase of our work today. The changes have been numerous and impactful.
Today, Arce Clima has a strong human resources department that is dedicated, in part, to incorporating new talent into our team. To achieve this, we have launched important initiatives, such as the Dual FP program. This program trains new professionals by combining theoretical classes with practical work in the company, with the aim of integrating them into our workforce. Through the New Talents Program, within the Students section, we also offer opportunities for individuals who have completed their studies. They can gain practical experience and obtain qualifications through workplace training, scholarships for further knowledge expansion, or internship contracts. Additionally, our Employment Portal is constantly active, providing a platform for individuals to explore job opportunities within our organization.
In addition to the measures mentioned, job fairs are a fundamental pillar of our human resources policy. These fairs provide us with the opportunity to connect with both entry-level professionals and experienced individuals who are seeking new opportunities. Attending these events allows us to showcase the benefits of being part of Arce Clima and stay informed about the demands and trends in the job market.
Our colleague Fran, from the IT department, is the result of one of these meetings. We met him at a Young Talent event, and today he is part of the Arce Clima team. Let’s hear from him firsthand.
You joined through a job fair. How did the connection between Fran and Arce Clima come about?
I didn’t fully grasp the concept of job fairs until I had the chance to attend the Young Talent event at the School of Finance. It was there that I met Jonathan and Silvia, who have given me the opportunity to pursue my dream of working in a field I’m passionate about, within a company like Arce Clima.
Did you know the company?
I wasn’t familiar with the company before, but I learned about it through that meeting. It aligned perfectly with the opportunity I was seeking, so I joined, and now I hope to be here for many years to come.
What position and department have you joined?
I have joined the IT department, where my responsibilities are quite diverse. I handle various tasks such as onboarding new team members, registering their fingerprints, providing them with new equipment and company phone numbers, and resolving any incidents that arise…
What have you been enjoying the most during your first few months at Arce Clima?
What I enjoy the most is the fact that I get to work on something I’m passionate about. When your work aligns with your interests, time flies by and it doesn’t feel like just a job.
