Arce Clima HVAC installed and continues to maintain the mechanical services for the historical building in Bilbao. The project comprised one of the most emblematic buildings in Bilbao due to its particularities and physiognomy.

One of the major features of this premises was the tight schedule to comply with the requirements and protection elements demanded by the World Heritage Site. This was an extremely challenging project as the building had to remain fully functional at all times during the works.

ACCLIMATISING A PECULIAR BUILDING PROTECTED BY THE WORLD HERITAGE SITE

It was built in 1907 and its structure has centenarian elements protected by the World Heritage Site. Optimal planning and extremely rigorous care were fundamental to tackle this project.

With over 5000 square metres, this building has the longest ground floor among all the stores our client has worldwide: 95 metres of showroom. Three floors with customised design and a personalised image, all the existing elements were kept to maintain the building´s architectural essence, including the eight main pillars, stained glass and ceiling.
