For years at Arce Clima we have been working on the implementation of measures to achieve equal opportunities and treatment between women and men and to eliminate discrimination based on sex.
What is an Equality Plan?
An Equality Plan is the set measures that guarantees the equality between men and women in the work environment. It seeks the elimination of those barriers that hinder, limit or prevent equal treatment between the sexes in the company. The Arce Clima Equality Plan has been developed taking into account the guidelines established by Royal Decree-Law 6/2019, which incorporates new features in Organic Law 3/2007.
What are the goals of the Equality labour Plan of Arce Clima?
- Contribute to the equality between men and women in the work environment, both in treatment and opportunities.
- To guarantee the equal pay between men and women,
- To foster the gender perspective with the policies of the HR Department.
- To promote the reconciliation of work and personal life, especially in positions with a predominance of women.
- To provide the access of workers in the company and occupy positions of responsibility.
- Embrace internal communication methods that do not engage in sexist terms.
- Assess the implementation of the Arce Clima Equality Plan within the different application areas or fields.
- Promote a culture within the company that respects and disseminates gender equality values.
- Assure the equal opportunities in the recruitment processes.
- Work to try to reduce the feminization or masculinization that exists in certain positions or professional categories.
- Train company professionals with regard to gender awareness.
- Prevent sexual harassment.
- Spread an image of the company of respect for men and women and their equal opportunities.
To achieve these goals, Arce Clima has designed a plan that contemplates the following cross-cutting measures for the company:
Communication
The transmission of the information will be bidirectional, that is to say; it flows both up and down and vice versa. For this, means have been enabled so that the staff can participate and give their opinion.
Training
Training plans on equal opportunities and gender perspective have been implemented.
Monitoring
Finally, monitoring throughout the development of the Plan allows to verify the achievement of the proposed objectives for each action and to know the development process, with the aim of introducing other measures if necessary or correcting possible deviations.
